Donated frozen bread + pantry items to Salvation Army Soup Kitchen Continued our Coffee Club with proceeds benefiting local environmental efforts Added a coffee punch card to the mix Sponsored Southern Columbia U10 Soccer + Little League Teams Participated in the Germantown + Hudson Farmers Markets Added new, wonderful local vendors and farms Our pipes froze We ran out of well water Our freezer broke down multiple times Sponsored the Summer Movie Nights in Palatine Park Our very own Patty Baker created beautiful community event posters In collaboration with Sparrowbush Farm, we hosted a Seed Harvesting Event at the Germantown Library Cooked for the Cornell Cooperative Extension Harvest Moon Fundraiser Planted an herb garden for our kitchen Replaced our Condenser + UV Light System Insulated the exterior building wall We were featured in Edible Hudson Valley + Hudson Valley Magazine Contributed + helped organize the Germantown Yard Sale, Earth Day Clean-up, Witch Walk and Winter Stroll Hosted Vender Tastings: Atina Foods, Potter's Table + Sky High Farm Diverted 25 TONS of food waste from the landfill through Composting! Added Sparrowbush Bakery and See + Be Kitchen to our bread line-up Returned to Grillsdale with Bobby's Chopped Cheese Sandwich Went Bowling + enjoyed a staff Summer BBQ together Brought on amazing new additions to our Otto's family Said goodbye to employees we still miss Participated in Plastic Free July and got rid of single use plastic water bottles Worked with Chris from QEDepot to help clean up our accounting Wolfy continued to create his amazing, daily chalkboard art Otto's Giving Back Program raised money for local organizations: Library, Waterfront, Fire Department, Parks Commission, Farmers Market, Food Pantry, Parsonage and Palatine Manor Helped prepare Thanksgiving + Christmas dishes for people in our community who needed some love But most importantly, we continued to be part of all the small, every day moments shared by our community. Moments that we may take for granted but leave a lasting impact. We couldn't have done any of this without the dedication from our outstanding Otto's team.
