Luscious Lemon Bar Cookies |

Tart and sweet and good to eat
1 cup soft butter 1/2 sup powdered sugar 2 cups flour Dash of salt
Combine all ingredients and mix. Press into a 9x13" pan. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until nicely browned.
4 large eggs, beaten 2 cups sugar 1/4 cup flour 6 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tsp. grated lemon peel
Combine flour and sugar, mix in beaten eggs and lemon juice. Pour over slightly cooled crust. Return to oven, and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes, just until set. Do not overbake. Cool completely before sifting powdered sugar on top.
