From Around The Family Table
These taste like little cheesecakes.
1/3 cup soft butter 1/3 cup brown sugar 1 cup flour 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Beat butter, sugar until fluffy. Sift flour, add to the butter mixture, along with the nuts. Blend with fingers. Set aside 1 cup of the mixture. Press remainder into a greased 8" pan. Bake at 350°F for 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Cool.
One 8-oz. package cream cheese 1/4 cup sugar 1 egg 2 tbsp. milk 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Mix cheese and sugar. Add all else. Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. Cool.
