Otto Says...

Known as “Kenny” to Central Market customers, I almost made Ken a contingency on the purchase of the market. As soon as I started investigating buying Central Market, I kept hearing about Kenny the Butcher. Everyone loved him, and I was clear he was the heart of the market. I called Ken even before I was in contract, and am thrilled to work with him.

Ken is an excellent cook and a skilled butcher. He runs the back of the house, and provides fantastic food, meat, and deli specialties. Everyone loves Kenny, and that includes me!

Try his soups. Every one is fantastic. And his ribs. YUM! But the best is his fried chicken. Or the apricot glazed chicken. Oh shoot! I can’t make up my mind.

Ken's Favorite Products:

	Tate’s Cookies: From the Hamptons, crisp and buttery, these cookies are the best packaged cookies you’ll find. Only Fairlight’s are better.
	Barbara’s Cheese Puffs: These cheese puffs are addictive. They have cheddar with a bit of blue cheese for a tangy taste you won’t find in other cheese puffs.
	Favorite sandwich: The Reuben. We make a great Reuben here. Corned beef, Sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and a whole lot of butter in the grilling.
	Ground Chuck: We grind beef to order. It doesn’t get any fresher than that!
	Our steaks: We have USDA Choice steaks, cut to order. You name the thickness.
