Otto Says...

I hired Kara right after the store open to work retail, but her skills are such that she has become the marketing and graphics doyenne for my store. My sister Marianna did a beautiful graphics package for the store, but I was unprepared to implement it. Then along comes Kara, my store is beautifully signed, and this website you are looking at is her doing. Love her!

Kara is also our resident food writer. She has a weekly column in the Register Star and Daily Mail and writes a food blog- An Hour in the Kitchen.

Kara's favorite products:

	Pomi Chopped Tomatoes When tomatoes aren't in season, these are the ones I use. They are great for making a quick sauce or soup. I go through a couple boxes a week.
	Limonata An Italian summer in a can.
	Hersey Cocoa Mix I have a new love for coco powder. I use it all the time. The best chocolate cake recipe I've made is right on the box.
	Bulk Herbs I almost always try to buy herbs in bulk. I'm thrilled that Otto's carries them.
	Almond Extract If I want to add a little something special to whatever I'm baking, I add a teaspoon of Almond Extract.
	Orange Flower Water I've never used this but just really wanted this adorable bottle in my kitchen.
	King Arthur Flour King Arthur's is the only flour I use.
